Signature image rules, where can they be found?
All of a sudden there is a note in a locked thread saying there's a max COMBINED image size of 600*125. Mine was 287*88, well within that.
So NOW I understand that it means that you're supposed to add the height of several images

And then I get my siggy removed with a sour statement "I'm getting tired of doing this."
Well, maybe if the rules where easy to find, and they were clear you might not have to do such a pointless and tedious task.
Make a new section with all the darn rules, so we don't have to spot them inbetween other threads. I for one do not read all threads, but I do check do's and don'ts.

So instead if the nice clean images I had before, I will now have to make a BIGGER one which surely benefits everyone.
Don't get me wrong, there are some bad images out there, big and unreadable and I understand that rules are needed, just don't beech 2 days after the rule is made, it takes time to flow through the system...

"Signature size is not to be greater than 125px in height, 600px in width (totals) for images and no more than 2 lines of text. "
Ok, so English is not my native language, but I still think it's not clearly stated that it applies for more than one image. And again, I do understand that the (totals) means all images in the signature, but it sure aint clear.

And a "Read before you post" section with all rules would be preferred.

Just to comment on the "baloney"...

To my knowledge, there is only one moderator doing this with approval from the admins.  He must be quite the n00b but being a moderator, it does not affect game development in any way.

I said nothing in regards to game development :)
I just said that there must be better things to do than go pixel hunting like in my case...
And the point of the rule was to avoid having to look at tons of signatures. My new one is within the rules mut occupies 70% more space than the other 2 combined. What I mean is that sometimes you need to use common sense.

The thing with the sig, is that it deforms the webpage on which it's shown, if it is too tall, then the page will be too long, if it's too wide then you'd have to scroll to the sides... I don't really think this is balloney,

what's next? Animated sigs? ;)

Even with the new rules the signatures are waay too big for a forum.  To add to that, I just checked AA.com and Continental.com.  Their banner images for their airlines are 79 and 38 pixels high respectively.  I'm yet to see an airline that shows itself as a brokerage partner so maybe taking that out would make things better.  If you're going through the trouble of making a banner for a pretend airline, shouldn't you try to at least be like real airlines?

First, this is a game, not a pretend Airline. Second it's a game, why trying to be like a real airline?
When you play Mario Bros are you then a pretend plumber?

No, but I do like eating mushrooms, climbing through pipes, and catching princess's

ENOUGH!   The rules are posted...  Don't like them?   Refer to CornField's forum rule #1  This is the private property of Stephen and his backers.  Don't like that?  You don't have to be here, go do something else.

I'm really starting to understand why D took some time away......
