Just looked into the aircraft rankings. The B99 shows over 6,000. The Airline ranking page shows less than 1,000 users. In the B99 ranking it shows airlines that dont seem to be listed in Airline rankings. Has every user (if account has not been deleted due to various reasons) that ever used to play AM be set to "available" and received the B99 in advance? If those accounts will be declared bancrupt I am afraid the brokers will receive over 3,000 B99's in about 2 weeks. If so I hear some of them screaming: "Please put them automatic on the used market at 50%!"

well, kinda like what happened to the DC-3 last round -- noobs liked it and bought more, then learned that it sucked and scrapped them.  and they all made their way straight to Hampo's hangar

The plane didn't suck.  Noobs liked it because they didn't have the capital to buy better planes.  I'd love to have some 747's right now, but that doesn't mean that my existing planes suck.  Those noobs would have taken a long time if they had waited around while their first plane made enough money to buy a constellation.

New people will buy the Beech's as well.  They're a decent aircraft with a good amount of capacity for a small plane, decent speed, low fuel consumption and good speed and range.  Just because they're not ideal for a large airline doesn't mean that they suck.

problem is if Hampo recycles he will get most planes back.

The DC3 problem isn't the same this round. While the DC3 did its job on shorthaul routes very well without competition and often simply offered the most plane for its money, the beech will be replaced by planes that ain't much more expensive but can carry a bigger planeload. The noob airlines (including my airline at the moment) will buy a ton of An-14s or An2Ps that will rain down upon hampo.

At the moment the B99 still offers a decent resale price.
