I would believe it if you have flown QR "domestic" as well.... worse than US based carriers. At least you could scream at the ground staff in US, but the QR ground staff scream at you

I had that too on a WLG-SYD Qantas 737-400 flight. How do they treat those hugely obese people that wouldn't physically fit into an economy seat? Do they seat them in their own row and tell them as nicely as possible that they're not just huge, they summin else!

In America if you take up part of the other seat you have to bye another ticket for it.
