hello all.

Just doing a bit of research into what you think will be the new 'popular' aircraft of the game?

Something that isn't too expensive with good range and good passenger numbers.

being truthful...737.  Hey, the Super Connie was the most popular aircraft in the game in the 50's, it was also the most expensive :D

I was thinking in the under 15mil range, something that is 'good and cheap' to start off with. Although im sure the 737's will be good

as an intermediate step the Fokker F27-200 isnt bad, , then the F28 Fellowship 1000, TU 104V,707s and DC 8s, 747s...maybe...

At first, the Antonov's will be a major hit.

I think at first, we'll see planes like Pilatus planes and AN-14s being high in demand because they are very cheap, then if it goes at a stedy rate, we might see planes like DHC-6-300s being popular. After that, I think it might branch into diffent things, the F-27 and AN-24 will be pretty popular and I expect more F-27s to be made, but also the AN-24 being close. After that, I think most airlines will be aiming for 737s, 727s and DC-9s with a chance that the Tu-154 might be pretty popular too if the numbers are good enough when it's introduced. After that I think we might see the IL-62 (range) and 747 (range and capacity), the DC-10 and L1011 might also be popular choices but just like with the Tu-154, we'll have to wait until it is introduced..
