A route (ID 237738) I'm doing has a block time (which is travel time + turn time for a 0.5 segment) of 11.84 hours. Yet, I can only do a 0.5 frequency.

11.84 hours * 2 < 24 hours

Why is that?

I'm able to do 1 frequency flights when the Block Time has been 11.96 hours.

only thing i could think of is that the aircraft your trying to create the route with doesnt actually have 24 hours available. or the other option is it's a bug which is why you posted it in the bugs folder

Consider the turn time of your aircraft.

As stated in the OP...

Block Time = travel time + turn time

Another example...

JFK-NAP

Block time with a L-1049 is exactly 12 hours, yet I can only do a 0.5 frequency.

if it's exact, it might be 12.00~1 hours.  that one doesn't surprise me.  I've looked and i didn't see anything blatantly wrong with the calc... i'll double check it again, because i may just be blind as a bat. it's happened before.
