There's no comparison.  2x the speed, 50% more seats and range.  Unless if DC-3 was sold or leased dirt cheap, and even then.

DC-3's are great for start-up airlines because they are dirt cheap. But once your established and there are less routes available, its much more efficient to roll with the Martin's. The DC-3's I have make around 75-125K, while Martins could pull in 150-250K for me. I'm currently in the process of getting rid of all my DC-3's in favor of the Martins.

To be honest, the Martin 404 can even yield up to 500.000.. most of mine are at 380.000

Depends on how many pax are there on the route. If you have less than 2000, I would prefer DC. More than 2500, 4-0-4.

To be honest, though the DC-3 in my opinion is decent for this round (though nothing to get too excited over), my list looks like this right now.

All three have produced very good yields for me, and even though the Comet looks like it can't do much, that thing is almost like owning 2 M 4-0-4s with it's speed. Well worth the 18 mil.

i just pulled all of my DC-3's out of service and am looking to sell them all off at 50-75% (maybe to a broker who will sell them for something between 75-100%).  Anyone interested?

I removed all of my DC3s in favor or Martin 2-0-2 and 4-0-4 aircraft.  I still have my 15 DC3s but I am leasing them out for about 500k and 750k.  Because nobody is leasing them, I guess I will just scrap 'em...
