Was unaware of some of the rules of this game until I looked around the forum, such as the gate hogging, etc.

Is there any place with what is acceptable and isn't acceptable to do with your flight routes?

I figure taking a plane and making all it's flights be .5 is against the rules.

Please disregard what Jps said. That is wrong.

A plane making all its flight in 0.5 is legal. As long as there is no more than 2 0.5 for each route (ie. between any pair of airports) within an airline, that is fine.

What? you get two 0.5s per route? So its still perfectly ok for an airline to fly all 0.5s if he flies to enough airports?

Yes. According to StephenM. Not my idea. So... as said in another post, "any flames, or complaints, or emails with viruses should be dierected to Stephen."

Hopefully there is a rule soon that you can only have one .5 per plane except if you're doing the base to base jumps. Maybe at that point allow multiple .5s per route as long as the planes doing it only have that one .5.

There is an airline I encounter a lot and I have yet to see one of their flights be anything more than a .5

Edit: You can have up to 10 frequency on the same route?

as far as I am concerned, everything will be done by the book... so yes, you can have 10 of the same routes. When it reach 10.5, it would be gone.

(and i am the one deleting the routes... so believe me  )

urgh.. darn.. this is destroying my hope of not having to see 0.5 airlines next round.. could the admins + mods talk to stephen about allowing only 1, or 2 0.5 routes per plane instead of per route?

I'd like to get the frequency limits hard coded into the scripts, but first we need to work on making them less of an advantage to have in the first place.

As far as I know from what StephenM said some time ago...

Base - Base: 2x 0.5 maximum.
Base - Any other airport: 1x 0.5 maximum.

That has changed. All routes can have 2 0.5 flights maximum.
