The comprehensive list of airports continues to grow thanks to the wonderful suggestions of our players. A special thanks goes out to Cornfield who has been instrumental in the growth of the North American airports. So today we have reached 1,500 airports for you to enjoy :)

A good idea I think would take a look at the FS2004 airports database....
Once we can take all the data from there....

What you guys think about it?

Good idea but not a good idea ;)

If we did that we would have thousands of grass air strips in the DB

The Middle East in particular is lacking.. Now I know the 20 airport's in Turkey will be considered as part of the Middle East but there are some other's that are missing.. I'll try to get a list of them.

What stats do you need regarding airports?  There's an airport in Worcester, Massachusetts with a 7,000 foot runway.  I never flew out of there.  It's in a lousy location, access-wise.

Meh.  The dang airport isn't any better than when I left that cursed state.  It doesn't have a good road network nearby and suffers for it.  The potential is there, but that doesn't mean reality.

If I think of any others from my travels, I'll dig out data for you.  I had it all until I hit cargo and pax, and it fell apart.
