Dear Players,

A new world has been created, and you are invited to set up an airline, and join us!

World Name: LEGENDARY WORLD (private world #3154)

Game Years: 1972 to 2015 (43 years!)

Starting Aircraft: 2 X Fokker 27-200

Bases allowed per player : Infinite (homebase continent), and maximum 10 (foreign continents).

The advantages of playing in this world are that I will regularly monitor it and remove bankrupt airlines (thus ensuring defunct airlines do not saturate the game/market). Also, I will have the occasional changes of the starting aircraft, which will help attract new players over the +40 year game period.

We hope to see you there!

Thunderstruck.

I am interested, but I will try to stay small as not to get too many routes to replace :)

Any special rules?

Dear Matias,

It would be great to have you in the game! and an honor, too...

Small airlines are also welcome: the real world is full of them (Luxair, Atlantic Airways, Air Macau, usw.)
It would be fun to have several of them in this game world, too.

There are indeed 3 simple rules, to make this a harmonious game world.

1. Realistic Airline Names

2. Airline Codes must follow the ICAO standard (3 letters)

3. Maximum route frequency : 5

Hope to see you there, and please let me know if you have any comments/suggestions.

Thunderstruck.

Thunderstruck, would you be interested in having a broker in this world? As I'm having a small airline, I thought I could provide those services. A broker will make growth faster and make the world more attractive for other players :)

Hello again,

The offer sounds good, and it seems it would bring some additional spice to the world: so you may definitely proceed.

However I am unfamiliar with the broker system. Is there anything I need to do, or do you set it up from your end?

Merci.

Brokers get discount from the manufacturers if they resell or lease the aircraft directly to other airlines right away, making for more growth. Now, in such a small world it won't be possible to sustain a broker alone, so that's why I ask for permission to have both airline and brokerage :)

You should just tell Stephen, he'll make the change in a few days

Thank you for the clarification.

I have sent an email to Stephen to ask him to set this up.

Looking forward to this broker opportunity.

Take care,

Thunderstruck.

Been a very long time since I last played Airlines Mogul, so I guess I will give it a try again in this world :)

Middle Eastern Airlines opened up in Dubai.

There is plenty of room many places in this world, just look at this route map - with only one intercontinental route courtesy of Italian Airways
