Please look into the ability to ban 0.5 routes from worlds, it annoys that this impossible route, messes up the overall flight costs/sales and it is never completed with the real world.

There is actually a limitation on 0.5 flights right now. Aircraft are not allowed to fly illogical routing where it has to teleport in order to fly all routes in one day. This means that more than two 0.5 routes are normally not allowed per aircraft.

0,5 routes are used in real world. Mostly for long haul routes as example are long routes when plane is going first day to destination and second day is flying back. There is no reason to ban it.

But is this then not a return trip? ie 1 instead of 0.5

If possible it should be banned for regional, short haul and medium haul, where the "flight" time is less then 12 hours, as its annoying where you see an A320 flying London to Paris and the freq is 0.5

The frequency of 0.5 is very much used in the real world. Imagine a flight leaving A in the evening and spending the night in B. The next morning it flies B -> A and does its business. It spends the night in A. Now repeat, you have one flight in each direction every other day :)

well, I think we understand the problem written in the first post.
Its not about RL flights from A to B, and another day back,
but its about using big planes for long hauls, and there are still some hours left on the airplane, which are used for 0.5 routes.

The use of 0.5 routes is useful, when in an alliance. You can travel from your base in North America to a alliance members base in Europe. Then use another 0.5route to go from Europe to the Middle-East. It allows for your airlines network to grow. In real life Emirates and Qantas do this from Australia to Europe
