One route: three different aircraft, eight frequencies a day, all at €1.

To start with, I would like to wish you all a happy and healthy new year!

To the point now:

What is really meant by the number 5 rule of the Game Rules?

5. A maximum of TWO (2) n.5 frequency flights are allowed in a route.

I'm in PW#2061.

On the route JFK-ORD, someone has put a Boeing 747-100SR (freq. 1) at €1, a SE 210 Caravelle 12 (freq. 3) also at €1 and a BAC 111-400 (freq. 4) at €1.

So this airline is operating three different aircraft, together 8 times a day, all at €1.
I can hardly believe this isn't a violation of the rule mentioned above.

Now he/she changed it to this:

Boeing 747-200    3.5    €1

So two Boeing 747-200 at 3.5 frequencies at €1.

This is not a violation of the rule mentioned above, as there are no .5 frequencies here. There are two 3.5 routes, but still not more than two .5 routes.

Furthermore, €1 routes are not against AM rules. Please refer to this post.

You might expect the airline to close the route soon, as it will loose immense amounts of money with those two 747's.

He is trying to make you go away from that route. I find it rather interesting when someone does that.


The 2x 0.5 rule was implemented during the early days of the game, when it was possible to do so. 0.5 frequencies means that the airplane stays at a foreign airport for the night. Of course it can't stay at more than 1 airport per night.

I believe the game actually allows you to fly realistic amounts of 0.5 frequencies now. Example: Paris-London-Copenhagen-Stockholm, permitted that you have enough hours to do so, and have a hub/alliance partner at a min. of 2 of these airports.

Yes, it is quite possible to have more than two .5 routes per aircraft. Although this example would not be possible in real life.

Back on topic: I think VS is right, he wants to kick you out of the route. Either you leave the route, or else you can just stay on the route, making him lose money fast.

Doubtful. He probably has a DOC that is 100 times bigger than what he losses on that route. He would hardly notice.

Just a note when I put n.5 it was supposed to be any number (n) followed by .5 be that 3.5 or 0.5. I used have a star instead of n but thought n would be easier to recognise internationally provided people stayed awake during maths in school.

Well, I left the route. And came back on it the day after. Seems like he gave up this little battle and started selling his 747's. Seems like he DID lost a lot of money with this

Alright, now he/she's accusing me having created two other airlines in that PW. As far as I knew, that's even impossible? Seems like that person didn't read the rules when registering either.

So, if one of the admins could verify to him/her (I'm talking about "Red Planet") that I'm only running one airline, that would be a great thing!

Oh again Red Planet, i faced him in public world 1609, this is standard behaviour - destroying routes, moving bases. Report him to staff as Virgin Serbia suggested.

Check this: I've asked him to return the aircraft he's leasing from me (I've been so stupid to put them up for 999 months) and this was his answer:
