I'm back again just in time for the Holidays, and an announcement to make: I think that having a big world as AiRevoLegacy (ARL) right now is not a smart idea for me since, although it is a private world, not a lot of members joined the world compared to the previous ones where I needed to expand twice to keep up with demand. Plus, the past few months have been busy for me, not having enough time and resources to focus on ARL. So, for this upcoming world, starting after New Year's, I have this proposal, with comparisons to ARL:

- You can have up to 10 total bases, with 2 international bases for you to choose (ARL had 20 total, 5 international)
- Less money that you will have (250,000 euros) for start up than ARL's 1,000,000 euros
- Less aircraft to begin with (2 Boeing 737-500s vs. 4 Airbus A320-200s)
- Two gates allocated to you for start up (vs. 3 in ARL)
- Start year will be later than ARL (1990 vs. 1989), and the end year will also be later (2011)
- (Updated) No password will be given, allowing more airlines to join in (I will provide adequate training guides for new players by request)
- Both civil aircraft and business jets will be available
- Opportunities for brokers to join in are most welcome -- I am looking for around two
- Room for expansion by request when needed
- Full world coverage

And oh, I might keep the number of slots to around 25 or 30, similar to my first two worlds, so that it will be intimate yet competitive. I am accepting reservations starting today, and I will announce the opening of the world at a later date. This time, it will not be a first-come, first-served reservation: it will be through some sort of lottery (if it is allowed), and should your airline be selected, I will keep you posted through this forum. Of course, questions, comments, concerns, and suggestions are always welcome.

Sign up below now and I will keep updating this as often as possible.

I'd possibly be interested in this world, just need to do some reading on ARL to see what you're expecting out of it..

EDIT-
After reading through the last thread, I think I'll be interested.

Meh, I've tried out of Nairobi. That's much harder, believe me.

Well, for me it would be :P The smallest hub I've been at is Bole International. And growing an airline there went dead slow. Can't imagine what it would be on an airport half that size :P

You have to take into account that there are plenty of big airports nearer than 500 miles of Jersey. The biggest African airport is Johannesburg with ~20 million passengers, Heathrow has more than thrice that amount.

Oh man I'll be really rusty as I've not had much time for AM lately but now i have a solid 2 weeks to build the foundation of an airline, wich is what really counts imo. I'm really interested in not having a base in the U.S. Any suggestions? Or possibly, for a real challenge, honolulu.

How about the middle east? And not Dubai-middle east but some of the smaller airports like King Abdulaziz/Khaled. You'll have a peaceful and competitor-free life there ;) A good place to start after a sabbatical, if you'd ask me

Africa! Nairobi, Lagos and Addis Ababa. But not Johannesburg nor Cape Town, that would be too easy.
