I think that prices of fuel should change throughout the years. For example you could find a chart online of the average fuel cost for the year 2000 ect ect ect. I could be wrong, but i think the price of fuel stays the same throughout the game. Also ticket prices are really messed up, who in 1960s paid 1,000 for a ticket.

It could be 1000 in todays money (so around 2-300 back then?)? Besides, the Euro didn't exist back then :P

It appears that fuel prices change over time already, although I don't know if it's tied to real historical prices.

If you look in your operations department, find a month end/start that your revenue doesn't change. Then take a look at your fuel expense. It will change on the 1st. It looks like it is the only daily expense that changes with the month rollover.

It is tied to an annual figure for each year and moves in accordance with that.

So the oil is more expensive in 1978 than in 1968? By how much? Does it have an impact on the AM economy?

Well you know, just like in real life. Airlines go under, some merge, etc... Joking besides, I believe it's slightest change each year. Unnoticeable to the eye.

The prices in-game are adjusted (based on inflation) to pricing in the mid-2000's in order to simplify the whole system. That's why people in the 1960's pay €1,000 for a ticket ingame.
