This is a very rare photo (i.e. not many photos of this aircraft in this situation)

Is it a Soviet aircraft?

Look at the tail, there's a hint :) Not Soviet Union, but a friend of theirs

Ah yes, then Eastern Germany...

Except I don't know any aircraft manufacturers from there  - so for the moment it still remains a mystery to me...

It's not a well known manufacturer. To be honest, I don't even think this aircraft is in the game - or the manufacturer

Well I typed "East German Aircraft manufacturers" in Google, and the first result it comes up with is the Baade 152.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baade_152

Built & tested in Dresden (which is a surprisingly beautiful -and historically emotional- city that I went to visit about 2 years ago).

As per the Wiki page, only 3 flying prototypes were built, which would indeed make that photograph of yours a rare sight.

Is that the aircraft?

Thanks Metallurgy! That was a bit of detective work....

OK here is an Air Ambulance operated by the company I worked with for 10 years. Can you guess the type? Should be fairly easy...

Is it a CRJ? Not sure what the number designation might be. It looks like the planes we loaded baggage for Delta at O'Hare. 😀

I know some CRJs can seat 50 or more, but that wouldn't be this model. I think this model just has 2 single rows with 1 stewardess. I'm just about 6 feet tall and I have to lower my head so I don't hit the ceiling. Lol. These are regional jets, and for good cause....you wouldn't want to fly medium-long flights in this cabin. More people than you'd think have gotten claustrophobic in them!!
