Nope, not quite...

Although this aircraft does indeed have the look and probably the feel of a Cessna 152, it is not a Cessna 152.

It is a US based manufacturer. They are usually able to configure their aircraft in amphibious mode, or as in this picture with skis.

Any other guesses?

What kinds?

Oh darn, I didn't see your guess.

How popular is the company's aircraft today?

Well it's a bit difficult to answer about the popularity of the aircraft.
Its a small manufacturer, and they produced 2,500 aircraft in their first 50 years of business, and they are continuing to build them.

A slightly newer version than the one pictured here (but also with the skis!) is one of the DEFAULT aircraft in FSX (Steam) but you would need the Deluxe edition of it.

Not as obvious as you might think. I can give more hints if it's too hard

I had a different name in mind, but Wren 460 is accepted. I think it's also called the Petersen Wren 260SE, but close enough. :)

Essentially a turbocharged Cessna with a canard for very STOL operations (stall speed is 20 kts or something)

Nope! But close in the sense that it's made in Asia.
