Not bad. In fact they are good, the colours fit each other. If you want to do better in something, try also painting the white lines on the aircraft. This gives the paint job a cleaner look.

Did you resize the images on purpose? It looks much better than these small images.

Keep up the good work!

Aside from what Matias said, the only suggestions I'd have;

- Don't know what it is about the Canadian Western Airline liveries, but the wave at the front doesn't quite look right to me.. maybe if it were facing the other way it'd work a bit better in my opinion..

- On the Germania Airways logo, might consider making the cross consistent with the livery and just have it solid colored. The stripes look good in the background, just not too sure about bringing it onto the cross.

- Something I thought might look nice, with the AA Australia livery on the 777 anyway, maybe try something like the old Delta liveries.. I think it would look pretty nice if some of the color was brought down onto the nose a little bit, or if you were to have some black down under the canopy.

Hopefully I don't come across as too harsh, just some suggestions that I have..  :lol:

You weren't being too harsh.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will keep them in mind next time I make liveries for my airlines.

Copy all the lines into a new layer and fill them black, then reduce the opacity.
Add gradient for 3D shadow and shine.

While the 3D shadows/lighting looks nice at times, I kinda think that it overpowers the paint work at others.. should be done in moderation..

I think I am doing that wrong.

It looks good, the lines fit in good with the other colours. Then you can make another layer with a colour fade between grey and white. Then make it transparent. Try playing around with it and find the best balance :)

What program do you use to make your liveries? and how long does it usually take you?

I use GIMP, and it usually takes me around 45-90 minutes, depending on the level of detail.
