If the next round is start from 60s, and non-stop til the modern times, is that possible for some company own DC-3 at 2007?

Or it's just not how the game works?

Thanks for answering.

It is going from 60s~70s or 60s~80s... but definetly not 2007.

60s-2007 would likely be: A. too long of a game overall (it takes 564 days at present to do that, well over a year.) B. too discouraging to those who join post-70s.  (just imagine how big fleet sizes and net values would be, considering how big they are now just 2 game-years in. even with a slowed loadfactor formula it'd still be epic. C. wouldn't allow for proper major alterations to the game that periodically need to be implemented (big a/c price corrections, LF tweaks, various new concepts or reworks launched that need to be between ages)

1950 to 2010 would be good. It would it would give people a chance to buy the older planes (and possibly keeping them longer).

that would be boring for anyone joining later. The used-aircraft market would be very low, and new competitors at regional level would simply be washed away by 10 or 15 DC3s, offering the routes of the competitor for 1 € or something.
Of course not all longtime-players would do that, but enough to piss new people off.
