I was just wondering are Airbuses really that much more expencive that Boeings.  I mean I've always thought that Boeings were more expencive.

Boeing 737-800 - 162 seats for €42,842,195
McDonnell Douglas MD-90-50 - 172 seats for €56,801,813

Airbus A320-200 - 179 seats for €75,870,060

I mean I would like to have an all airbus fleet but there just to expencive.

Wikipedia says that a Airbus A321-200 is only $66,000,000 each which is about €48,000,000.

I'm not saying something should be done.  I just want to know are they really that much more expencive.

I do have updated prices, but whether people will give out when I change them is the question... Such as CRJs etc going up 4 times in price.

So a CRJ-100 would be roughly 17,000,000 euros.

B738 - 74,000,000
A320 - 59,500,000
MD83 - ?

CRJ100 - 23,000,000

They would be the new prices.

Now based on those what do we do? Is it just all new aircraft are using the new values and have a 50/50 system on the used market, some planes are cheap and some are dear even though they are the same plane. Or do we wait till the end of the round to correct so that when we reach the 2000's again all will be on target?

I'm open to suggestions as I would love to correct the prices!

We deffinetly need to correct the prices.  I would like to fix it now.  But it might be better to wait until this round is over then we fix it.  Like you said then everything will be fixed when we come back.  And we wouldn't have the price problems.

Yeah but what country? I mean Hong Kong Dollars, New Zealand Dollars, US Dollars? As if it's Hong Kong the prices would be considerably less than US and NZ

USD... that is what airplanes are generally listed in (although they are increasingly listed in Euro nowadays).

So... I'd rather stick to the ATR-72-500
