Denmark is cold, wet and soggy. No frost, I'm afraid.

But the definition of a fjord is a narrow inlet with mountains on each side! Denmark lacks the latter part. :P

Thats the english definition. The scandinavian definition for a fjord is far more general, and covers inlets, firths and bays as well. Really, in scandinavia we consider any body of water that is not open sea as a fjord.
Its the same as with rivers and streams. In denmark we call all rivers and streams "Å", no matter the size. Å roughly translates into stream.

And to confuse things even more, there are a few fjords in denmark that are strictly speaking rivers.

Well we don't really have any rivers in Denmark, we are perhaps a bit too small for it.

It's not really because Denmark is too small, it's probably just because there's no water source (like a mountain) for a river. It's too flat :P

Even though we are a mountainous nation, it's weird that the tallest mountain is barely 2300 meters high. That not impressive at all. :P

Thats why I am looking at leaving this country as soon as possible ;) I can't wait for a nice cozy well paid job as a first officer someplace in africa/asia/middle east where national pride only exists in textbooks.
