Oh true. It seems that the new system laws and logic is prone to error. Like a bug in software programs, except that this system is deadly. I guess that the 737MAX is not safe after all, if that's the case. This is the problem with fly-by-wire ;/

It usually works, but the pilots should know what to do when it doesn't work. Which wasn't the case here, sadly. Just like that accident in Stockholm many years ago with a SAS MD-80; the pilot didn't know about the automatic throttle restoration when he decreased the throttle right after take-off. The engines then surged (what the pilot tried to avoid) and it crashed in a field.

I have been lucky to meet a lot of AM staff in real life over the years but sadly since we are spread cross the globe in person meetings are very rare! Email and chat are the easiest ways to communicate.
