We have a point in common (apart from the love of aviation) - I also used to work as a receptionist in hotels for many years, when I was younger.
It's a special atmosphere, self-contained, like an airport. Great to meet people from all over the world.

Thanks, Nosy! Hope all is well with you.
Like you, I'm one of the rare ones without Facebook. The only thing like that I have is Instagram, cause I like to post some photos I take now & again.

Which should leave me some time to occasionally come here and count up to 10,000 with you guys!

The thing I like about being a receptionist is being able to help the guests with whatever they need for their trip to be good!

What is your instagram (if you want to share)?

Good morning. My Instagram is "Arctic_Circles", come say hello!

Matias recently flew his 1st A-380 flight (cool!). I just flew my 1st A-350 flight about 3 weeks ago, with Air Caraïbes, between Orly and Fort-de-France. The flight was smooth, the aircraft comfortable, and they served us rum right after the take--off, so we got right away in the mood!

Also flew an ATR-72 between Fort-de-France and Pointe-à-Pitre, and so had a taste of island hopping. On the way back from Guadeloupe to Paris Orly, I chose to fly the legendary B-747, with Corsair.

Oh, and apart from these wonderful flights, I also had a great holiday in the French Caribbean islands!

What an awesome trip! How is the A350? Have you flown the 787 too, how is it compared to the 350?

I've flown on a 787. And to be frank, it's not much of a difference from other aircraft. Especially as I was on a low-cost carrier. :P The button operated window was kinda fun, but the results are very slow. The less opaque versions of the window acts a s a good sunglass. :D

Do you guys know that the Singapore Airshow is currently going on? Sadly I am not able to go, even though I am in Singapore.

Also, a few days earlier, during the non-public days of the airshow, a South Korean plane taking off skidded on the runway and caught fire. Quite a stir that caused, though thankfully the pilot was only mildly injured.

How big is Singapore Airshow? Does it have big airliners or mostly small, local aircraft?
