Problem with sound in FSX

Quick and easy solution = X-plane for teh win!

I do have it, but the texture quality is low, and so are the panels. But I haven't flown it so much.

Which version? The latest X-plane 9 has textures that are at least as good as FSX.

Apparently. I didn't do anything, but it quit lagging sound. It was still laggy during landing, so I tried to change my settings from 'Custom' to 'Medium low'. And that has helped a little bit - I think.

So apparently the problem has gone without me trying to resolve it. Weird.
