Due to the increase in maintenance costs as you all know, we based in PW#1577, are this world's 3rd/4th largest airline with a company value around 9.4 billion. It is nearing 2000, and we already started replacing A320s and older 737s and so forth with the newer Boeing 737-800 HGW.

But mainly the long haul fleet is the main focus. A340-300s are returning, as all but one A340 was sold. We once had 6 A340-300s and 4 A340-200s, but now A340-200s are no longer in service. They once performed alliance routes from Asia such as the Bangkok-Amsterdam Schipol Airport, and Bangkok-Madrid. From our base in Toronto,Ontario (Canada), they operated between routes to Asia, most profitable was between Toronto YYZ and Tokyo NRT, YYZ to Shanghai Pudong and a Europeon route performed as one A342 had around 10 hours left, so it performed another route as YYZ to Rome. Currently, the A342 has been sold off to the scrap yard. In the years, only one heavy was sold: an MD-11 which was purchased by Skyline Airlines/American Airlines.

The A340-300s are returning again. 5/6 A340-300s were sold off.The sixth was kept until we found a way to purchase another of it's kind. That A340-300 which we style as our "A340-343X" was in fact the long range A340-300 introduced in 1997-1998 period. It had a range of 8,510 nm and we eventually sold off the last 343X on route Toronto Pearson(YYZ) to Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok (HKG). It was replaced by another recently. Now we own around 3-4 A340-300s, 2 on order to this date.
They fly between our base and Tokyo Haneda (313X), and Hong Kong (343X). The rest are alliance routes. The two on order are to be placed on the routes between Beijing (313X) and Bangkok (343X)

Unfortunately about every active airline in the world PW#1577 ditched the A342  :P

Our second paragraph talks about the second aircraft flying longggg routes to Asia, the Boeing 777-200ER, released a year ago in PW#1577.
It quickly became a favourite for airlines with more than 7 billion airline value. Every airline 4th place and up has one, Including American Airlines and LOTT Polish Airlines and us. WE own 7 of them, most on alliance routes from Dallas DFW and Chicago ORD, and from our base, some operate short haul routes with whatever hours they have left, such as one of our 772ers flying from Toronto to Calgary International. International connections include longest flights between cities like Guangzhou which is either performed by the A343 or 772ER. Some of these routes to airports have only 22 million passenger yearly, but is the best for planes with 8,527 range. The most Profitable route is between Toronto and Dubai DXB, with more than $140,000 profit. Our 772ER to Dubai has been configured with 370 seats, but other 777-200ERs have around 3 class of 315 seats for the not-so-large airports.

Sincerely, Mastafa

The A330-300LR is the backbone of our Europeon operations, with 9 in service at one time. But soon all were sold as they were aging for more than 2.5 AM years. THey flew between London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Franfurt Airport, and Amsterdam Schipol along with Munich Franz-Josef Strauss. But that was in 1994-1996 times. Then a massive order for 777-200s was in and some A330-300LRs were to go. In the end, only about 4 remained and 10 777-200s were in service. But soon all 777-200s were sold around 1998( Current Time period is 2000) and 1997, soon all but one were scraped. All A330-300LRs disappeared, until now, 2 A330-300LRs are once again in service from Toronto to Amsterdam as most profitable, second is recently made Toronto to Rome. Alliance routes are the famous Dallas DFW to London LHR, with more than $190,000 profit, but was closed for service between YYZ-AMS.

The Boeing 777-300 is our latest addition to the long haul fleet, with more than 450 seats configured, all 2 of them fly from our base in Toronto to Europe's 3 busiest airports, London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, and Franfurt Airport. An Additional may be requred for Madrid-Barajas which is flown by a 757-200. Either the 773 or A330-300LR will fly to Madrid
Probability
A330-300LR   65%
777-300        25%

We are the largest operator of the Dash 8 - 400, with 40 in service.

The 738HGWs were brought in to replace the following aircraft:

Boeing 737-200 Advanced, which were 5 yrs of age.
Boeing 737-300, which were 4 yrs of age
Boeing 737-400, which were around 4 yrs of age
Boeing 737-500, which were 3.5 yrs of age
Airbus A319, which were 3.3 yrs of age
Airbus A320, which were 3.4 yrs of age
Airbus A321, which were 3.1 yrs of age

We decided to replace all of these aircraft with one variant because we wanted to keep our fleet simple. We initially ordered 5 738s, but seeing there outstanding performance, oreder 26 more. Now we operate a total of 31 738HGWs -- making Jet Canada Express the largest operator of the 738.
