The meanings of debit and credit are reversed on the operations department page. Debit is out, credit is in. On the page it says debit in, credit out.

Hello,

Firstly welcome to the forums. Under normal accounting circumstances you "debit the account that receives and credit the account that gives", meaning debit = in and credit = out. When you look at your bank statements the situation is reversed, debit = out and credit = in because the statements are from the bank's perspective. The finances in AM follow normal accounting practice and as such we have debit = in and credit = out.
