I have a DOC of 40 million, and am wondering if there is a better choice out there for "excellent" ranked routes. Currently I mostly use 757-200's on the "excellent" routes, but recently purchsed a few 767-200's just to try them out. I also saw the A310 as a new plane I could use. The 757-300 isn't out yet in my world, but it will be out in a few years, and I was just wondering is the 757-200 sufficient enough for the "excellent" routes, or could I upgrade to either A310's or 767-200's (or 757-300's when they come out) without it costing me too much in maintnence?

757s provide some of the best mix of price/seats/speed/range/turn time for big routes. Unless you really need the range, I would stick with 757s. Otherwise, the A310HGWs and 767-200ERs are also decent.

Thanks, I guess I'll stick to my original plan then, using 757-200's for excellent routes and 767-200ER's for long-range excellent routes.

Oh... forgot about the A330-200. That's also in the same price range as the 762ER.

I tend to use all three aircraft--figure out block times to all the major airports using all three aircraft, and puzzle-piece them in.

A330-200 was developed later as replacement for A310
