The Story.
World war 2 never happened so it never caused major Highways to be built. But after world war1 the Airplane showed it's potential for travel! Railways are often to taxed for transporting cargo, so other means had to be used to transport people over long distances quickly. A group of world goverments decided to create the "Transport ministry for economic development and trade" ((TMEDT)) to address this issue. The TMEDT decided to propose a competition with all that had the means to produce a cheap, quickly produced aircraft that could be used to start service for new airlines. Many submitted but the simple constrution of wood and Fabric on the DH.89 Dragon Rapide won Dehavilland the contract. The TMEDT through the World Bank pays Dehavilland a pre Paid rate to give the new upstart company the Aircraft. Now..that is all said. How the world of air travel evolves is upto you and your Airline! All are welcome as long as you are up for the task.. But be aware it will not be easy. Let the Glory days begin!
