If those are the only two aircraft you have, then you will quickly end up with 0k in profit and massive debts.

If you want us to look at your airline, use the external link code, found on the top right corner of the View Airline page. Otherwise, people can only see your airline if logged in to your world (which requires them to be part of your world). Maybe this should be put on the read first thread...

The following advice is only to maximise profit, you may want to keep some of your long haul planes for the sake of a pretty route map.

You should scrap the 707s and 720s to start with. The DC-8s are quite expensive, so I would be considering getting rid of them too. The Super Constellation and DC-7s would be old and are props anyway, so scrap them. I would advise buying some smaller planes, 100 or so seats, such as the 737s on order. 727s are a reasonably expensive, so I wouldn't get too many of them. Basically, you don't want anything much more than 5 years old, or much more than $100 million in purchase price.

Hi CHR

thanks for the advice i was thinking of that one but maybe since i can still order 1 a/c (B727) i'll keep them for a while until i get atleast 10 B727, I will be missing my long haul routes for a while :(, but for the sake of my airlines i really need to scrap them :)

Disagree. Second only to the Caravelle 10B, it's the absolute best plane in terms of price/range/performance. Granted, it may not be so great out of MSP or MNL.

Any world I'm that is in 1969, I buy as many Connies as possible before they disappear.

The Caravelle 10B is available there. Compared to a 737, the 737 costs about the same (or cheaper), has about the same pax., but is faster, although with less range (but 2000nm is enough for any short haul flights). I think of the Super Connie as a long haul aircraft. In the 50s worlds, I tend to use the Il-18 for short to medium haul, and Super Connie for long haul, and then replace them with 707s for long haul and keep the Il-18s until the Caravelle 10Bs come (and maybe get a few of the 100 pax. jets which come out before then).
