Trying to open a route to JFK - won't show my plane - Help!!

Hi

I've just leased an airbus a319 and checked that it definately can reach JFK New York from London Heathrow but when I try to create a route it does not show me the new airbus to select - help!! my leasing costs are a fortune per hour and I cant use my plane and I am relectant to open another gate somewhere else for I may get the same problem - is a fault or am I overlooking something obvious

Did you check the engines on the aircraft? If you click on the aircraft's name on research route you will get the exact breakdown of the engine type.
