Question Regarding Cargo

Hi, all.  Just joined a few weeks ago, and I have a question about cargo.  In the buy aircraft, each aircraft is a slot that says cargo, which is all set to zero.  Airports too have such a slot, but some of these do have numbers. 

Was cargo a factor some time ago, or is it just world settings?

No worries. Transporting cargo is no implemented, yet. The data for airports has been imputed but hasn't for aircraft.
