Bases

Are bases still under construction or are they not working for me cause I can't get anything in the drop down box or do you have to have a certain amount of aircraft and gates to that airport to create a focus city/base?

You need to have atleast 4 gates at the airport.

To creat a Base outside Europe is not possible, is it?

And Pierre, that is correct. This will be something that wont be the case with Alliances, so it will help to have alliance members throughout the world as you will be able to setup some routes from their bases.

Well, you can only be based on one continent at the moment.

To simply put it, Nup.

What the problem is with it, is that if airline X had a base at MAN, and decided to open bases in JNB, NRT, SYD, JFK & SCL, then airlines A, B, C, D, E (all of which are regional airlines) and airlines F, G, H, I, J (which are major continental airlines) would be cut down, and lose a great amount of profit.

This is where alliances will come in, you will be able to use your alliance partners hubs in other continents.
