Replacing an old aircraft

Hey,

After i replace an aircraft, if i don't lease it or sell it (because noone wants it :P) can i write it off my aircrafts? If i don't will i still be paying maintenance even though i don't use it?

There is an option to scrap the plane.

You will pay maintenance regardless of whether you are using it or not. It will be exactly the same amount.
You can scrap the plane (use the red X on the View Aircraft page). However, you get hardly any money for this. If it is possible, it would be far more profitable to sell it at 50% of value on the aircraft market (50% is the lowest you can go).
