I have read posts on how maintenance costs just keep getting higher and higher eating into profits. Ive been playing for about 2 months in PW #539. I have a DOC of $82,300,000 and an airline value of $25,000,000,000 +.  I have a fleet of  the following

 48 737-300's
 74 737-400's
 72 757-200's
 1 767-200ER
 7 767-300ER's
 43 777-200's
 4 CRJ-100's
 12 CRJ-100ER's

I have been increasing revenue substantially but when I look at my finances my monthly profit basically stays level or decreases. I noticed my monthly maintnenace costs are close to $1,000,000,000. Ive read that as planes gets older these costs go up. Is there anyway to see which planes are generating these costs. None of my planes are older than 4 years old. If not, is there any plan to add a feature so CEO's can see which planes have the highest maintenance cost so they can be replaced. With that being said, im planning on replacing all of the CRJs and 737's with Next Gen 737s because they are the oldest. Is there a way to just substitute a plane or do I have to edit/close ever single route and then recreate it. I can only imagine how time consuming that is for large airlines.

If not , is there maybe plans by AM staff to adjust these maintnenace costs to be more realistic.  Just wondering. Thanks

Paul

To avoid skyrocketing MX cost, simply phase out your 777s and 767-300swill do. They should be responsible for (about) half of your MX cost.

Planes over 150m is a no-go zone because MX cost in AM is related to its price. The pricier it is, the heavier the MX cost is.
