I'm in the PW460 and this is where I got the information.

Capacity, fuel usage, prices and range are wrong in the game:

Airbus A340-500     375     0     485     10357     2023     2     8     1.50     €342,642,301     RR Trent 553     3,881.00
Airbus A340-600     475     0     485     7500     2022     2     10     1.90     €283,512,952     RR Trent 556     2,421.00

About the capacity, all A340s seem to have their maximum, therefore for official and safety reasons, a door can only 'eject' 55 passengers, technically, as the A345 has 8 doors, it should have a maximum capacity of 440 (Which is also logical : the A345 is longer than the A343), and the A346, 550, as it has 10 doors (just like the B773).

>A343 :63.6 m.
>A345 :67.9 m.
Found on the Airbus website :
>http://www.airbus.com/en/aircraftfamilies/a330a340/a340-300/specifications.html
>http://www.airbus.com/en/aircraftfamilies/a330a340/a340-600/specifications.html

About the fuel usage, I don't have any evidence but it's just false. Both A345 and A346 have the same engine : RR Trent 500, only the thrust is different.
The basic A345 (A340-541) has 4 Trent 553 (which produce 53000lbs of thrust) and the more powerful one known as A345HGW (A340-542) has 4 Trent 556 (which produce 56000lbs of thrust).
The basic A346 (A340-642) has 4 Trent 556, and the more powerful one known as A346HGW (A340-642X) has 4 Trent 560 (which produce 60000lbs of thrust).
So how can a less powerful engine burn more fuel than the more powerful one of the same family? The A345 has just more fuel tanks but does not burn more fuel than the A346!

About the prices, an A345 cost less than a A346, I don't understand the €60M! Official 2008 prices can be found on Airbus website. I don't ask to put the exact right prices but to correct the gap:
>A345: 237.1M$  =  168.4M€
>A346: 249.4M$  =  177.2M€
(>A343: 215.5M$  =  153M€)
I've used the site http://www.xe.com/ for the rates.
We can find the prices on 2 sources :
http://www.airbus.com/store/mm_repository/pdf/att00011726/media_object_file_ListPrices2008.pdf
http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/2008/04/22/223184/airbus-includes-surcharge-in-2008-catalogue-prices.html

About the range, I don't know if the game uses statute or nautical miles but the Airbus website states:
>A345: 8670nm (Trent 553)
>A345HGW : 9000nm (Trent 556)
>A346 : 7750nm (Trent 556)
>A346HGW : 7900nm (Trent 560)

(Also add the 2 HGW version in the game would not be bad, but it's just a suggestion, I suggest these 2 pages for more info:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_A340#A340-500
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_A340#A340-600
I know wikipedia is not the most thrustful website but I confirm what they say about the HGW versions as I know a lot of things about them)

I really like these 2 aircrafts, it will also add a bit of realism in the game,
Regards

Good information there.

As for prices, the game uses its own formula to calculate prices. Therefore, it most likely won't match actual "retail" prices.

As pseudoswede said above, the cost per aircraft is calculated depending on the capacity, range and speed and is discriminant to real life prices.

Just to add to what pseudoswede said, please check a few threads here until an admin explains it fully to you.

Fuel usage is off, compared to our source. I'll note to update it.
