I love the Yugo's features.

Looks like a Nissan Micra, so the design must not have been that bad. :)

Bigger piece of junk: The Yugo or the Trabi?

Trabi ofc.....later versions of Yugo had Central locking, three steps rotary switch on the dash marked "0", "1", "2", "3" for Headlamps levelling control in four height positions, 4-speakers Car Audio system, Electric windows, Folding Electro-adjustable Side-view mirrors, Alloy wheels and optional Air Conditioner and also an optional Renault-designed three-speed automatic transmission.

Well after a long search and decision making progress I placed an order with a local dealer for a Volvo S40. They got one this week in the UK that fitted what I wanted so hopefully I'll complete the deal in the next 2 weeks. :)

Ha! I love S40s!  I had one once as a loaner while our XC90 was in the shop!

We have horrible weather here today, one of the local METARs is below:

Winds gusting up to 55kts!

XC90 is pretty cool too, but definitely not practical for a 21 year old male in Ireland. Insurance companies make a small fortune off people like me, (One of the highest risk categories).

The US is great for classic cars, generally they are very rare here, or are generally not maintained too well as its owned by a farmer who has had it for 20 years!

I know but that's the fun in restoring them.
Right now i'm giving a hand once in a while to a buddy who's trying to resore his 1982 Volks Vanagon Camper. (we call them Westfalias around there)

I'm saying trying, because we just found out that the Tranny is about to die. Those things are expensive So it's sitting in his driveway, waiting for him to decide (we're looking at 1000$ plus S&H for a rebuilt unit) what to do next.
