I own one like this and I absolutely love it!  :D

Mazda 323 BD
1985
1.3 GLX
5 spd. manual

The engine is simple and very reliable. I driven it without engine oil for ~30km and nothing happened. That engine is still running without any problems.
Oh and I installed centralized lock with an alarm and electric windows. :P

Nope, thats something between a truck and off-road vehicle :P

Oh and btw the subject says "Your Favorite Car + Brand" and Mazda is my favorite Brand so no need to be cinical! I have experience with Mazda and I love it. Have you tried that Volvo? If yes, please, elaborate.

Nope Never even sat in one but i bet that they have very comfy seats better than mazda's seats.

I like anything made by Japenese/Swedish and German PPL its the best.

Yee haw! And if I can't have the car, could I just have the horn installed on a VW Passat?

I've driven a Volvo V70 and a Mazda 6 and I have to say the Mazda beat the Volvo seat-wise.

Whereas I've driven an Volvo S60 and a Mazda 3, I really enjoyed driving the Mazda, but I just cannot forget melting into the S60's seat, it was fantastic!

Few days ago I bought me a new ride. It costed me a whooping 250 Euros :D and it came with LPG installed ^^

It was an icon for bad cars. Since it first appeared in 1978, almost 800,000 have been sold, but an attempt to sell it in North America in 1985 ended disastrously, despite having the lowest list price on the market. The ride was derided by American car magazines "as barely qualifying as a car" and "an assembled bag of nuts and bolts." U.S. owners complained of frequent engine failures and transmission problems.

I present you...

Yugo 45
1985
900 cc
4 spd. manual

But Yugo has made its way in pop – culture and history.
Die Hard 3? Yes, Yugo was there. Drowning Mona – you can’t forget that one, can’t you? Of course, 101 Dalmatians...
Metallica features Yugo in their video clip "The Day That Never Comes"

The Yugo was the butt of some fine jokes:

Why is the Yugo’s rear window heated?
To keep your hands warm while you push it.

How do you double the value of a Yugo?
Fill up the gas tank.

What takes up the last six pages of the Yugo users manual?
The train and bus timetables.

In the end it's not that bad. For 250 euros I have a car that consumes the gas like a zippo lighter. It is small so I can find the parking place everywhere and it does the job of driving from point A to point B. I use it for my work coz I have to drive to several locations in a day and parking downtown is hell with a bigger car.
