dont know what im doing but i cant get the form to work right. plus i dont have a passenger number. so im going to tell all the info i know here and hopefully someone else can find the passenger info.

Musekgon County Airport
MKG
KMKG
Lat/Long:  43-10-10.1570N / 086-14-17.6030W
43-10.169283N / 086-14.293383W
43.1694881 / -86.2382231
Longest runway is 6501 x 150 ft. / 1982 x 46 m

i know northwest and midwest both operate about 3-4 flights per day out of there, so the passenger base can't be that big. but i dont think it's that small either. id like to see this airport in the database.

thanks

I tried submitting another one just now, and I get this error message.

Unknown column 'icao' in 'field list'

Oh well. No biggie. I'll add them when it's eventually fixed.

should be fixed. i forgot to add something to the main server when i added it to the test server.

They haven't offically issued 2006 numbers yet....   Oct. 31st is when that is scheduled.

cornfield, where did you get your pax numbers for my airport from? i have 3 more airports to add, maybe more soon, but all i can find is the 2006 boardings on the faa website. and it was stated earlier that boardings aren't the number, it's total pax. pax is all that's holding me back.

Okay guys.....

In the US,  the FAA describes boardings as 2 pax transactions.  Meaning one boarding and one de-boarding.  So if you double the number listed as boardings you get a VERY close approximation of actual number of passengers.

If a number looks strange to me, I check it three ways.   First I look in either Kayak or Faremeasure, I use the largest major hub available close or if I know who has service there I use that particular airlines website. Second, I google the particular airport, most airports have a site of some kind, or at the very least a page on a community wesite.  Third I will look through any available articles from media sources.  Airport directors are apt to over report numbers to the media.

Second as this as nothing to do with the orignal topic of Rick announcing the submit airport or what I like to call 'a new and exiciting way to drive Rick insane'   Its being split off.

Oh shoot. I've just been giving the boarding numbers, not doubling it.

The worst area for this I've seen is the Pacfic Northwest.   Are those yours???   Several have been fixed.   I'll be submitting another batch of random(okay not so random, but right down the report) quickly.

MTJ is familiar for some reason.  It may be one that got fixed.

But, if you can find the ones that needed corrected, post them in the Database innacuracy thread.  They will get when they can.
