Not completely sure if this is a bug or not. And albeit I'm not playing anymore, just checking occasionally, but should I be paying 18 mil a month on gate rental fees if I own 80 terminal gates? Don't have any other gates rented.

For that kind of range I'd personally buy Convair 580's. I'm currently building my fleet on 580s and Casa C207's and I'm currently first on World 1 by a long shot(3mil DOP, closest rival has just broken 1mil)

That's probably the most logical plan, I use it myself but the waiting for a high DOP for a new base is the one flaw I think. I'm in world 1 with a DoP of 2mil. I think it's definately time to open a new base as I'm currently paying 7.5mil in gate fees. Now if a new base costs 15mil. Rather than rent another 7.5mil in gates per month to create the same amount of flights. You can pay 15mil one off and then use each gate twice, and only end up paying 7.5mil a month as opposed to 15 mil a month. So it pays itself off for the same routes after just 2months.

Howdy, yeah I ended up getting sick of having to redo my routes every hour. Now that multi-worlds is in life should be easier.
And you don't necessarily need bigger planes. Medium planes with a lot of speed can be good for quick cash. Just ordered a Mu-2G. Only 12 Seats but fast with a lot more range than those 20 or 30 seat planes which will be competing with the other airlines if I ordered.
