General Chat / figuring out passenger loads

Per the airport's passengers, are they per day, or per year? Chicago Ohare, I can't believe 71 million people go through each day, so that has to be yearly, right? Is that count ONLY for the outgoing passengers, or the return trip as well? So, how do we figure what plane(s) to best use? Could I figure, for example, a 10 seater plane to/from would do 20 people. Multiply that flight by 24 days, multiply that by 365 days. Gets you = 175,200. Is that right? A 10 seater plane could theoretically service a 175,000 airport? If that is so, then a 100 seater airplane would have seats left open, as it would service 1,752,000 passengers per year? Please be detailed in your answers/responses, and show any math you may use. I really would like a educated answer, instead of guessing.  Thank you.

So, there is some information I need to know from Admin, to see if this can work. I am using Open Office, spreadsheet, which saves as ODF spreadsheet. It's possible the ODF will open with any program, to view the data, but I am not sure. I am not good with computers, my brother is. I am just willing to put the time in to get what I need done, in hopes to make the game a bit better for the players. Please let me know how you want to converse with me, either in here, or email. I look forward to possibly working with you. Of course, if Admin doesn't wish to have this work done, no harm done. It won't upset me at all.  I am not looking for any kind of compensation. I would be doing this of my own free will and time taken. I simply LOVE this game, and want to see it made better for the players.

Ok.  I know it will take awhile, but would it be ok if I put together a list for your team, listing all the planes that are built within the same times? It won't be a spreadsheet or excel, as I don't deal with either of them. It will just be a typed out list, but 100% readable by your team. Obviously, I would only be able to do the planes that are offered during the game I am in. If that is ok with your team, please let me know, as I am sure there are players that would like the information ahead of time.  Thanks

If possible, myself and others, would love to find out how planes are divided into build time, and possibly WHICH planes go into which build time category. I know planes are divided into 24,48,72, and 144 days build delivery days. Which planes go into which build time though?  If possible, please be specific.

I deleted a bunch of messages while i was at home, so atm, the messages aren't low enough to get blocked from the ad bar. However, when it happens again, I will be sure to send you the email of my screenshot. Sorry and thank you.

Hi. It isn't about the game, really, but how the advertisements are affecting the gameplay. When I read my messages, and I want to delete messages, the ad bar covers the delete button, so I cannot delete any messages. I have tried clicking on the x of the advertisement, to no avail. Then just a white box same size is there, still covering the delete box. Is there anyway the developers can fix this issue?

What happens to leased out aircraft if an airline who is using the leased aircraft gets kicked/banned/account erased for inactivity? Do the aircraft come back to the owner, or do they just disappear, and the owner loses the aircraft and the revenue/loss of use/recuperating selling price upon getting the aircraft back?

as per using the research route tab, pertaining to speed and block time, I did expand it. However, I did not really see the advantage in speed you had said if I wwere to use a turboprop I thought I would see. I know turboprops would be a few hundred miles per hour slower, but I would believe using a jet going around 500+ could make 2 flights to the single route of a turboprop, hence make more money, even if it is around 5k-20k more.  It all adds up in the end for more least that's the way I saw it. If you can put more detail into your thought process, to maybe make me see it more like you, I may see things a bit differently.

p.s.   Ohhhh.  I forgot to take into account the longer turnaround times for jets. So, that would make the block time a little better for turboprops, i guess. I can see how just that alone may swing into the turboprop favor.  I shall see, and let you know how it's going.  Thanks again.
