this is going to get ugly in a hurry, all its gonna take is 2 or 3 big airlines
building terminals at each of the major airports and no one is gonna make money anywhere.

question, i've built a terminal... it is unfortunately wayyyyy too big.
am i going to lose the gates i've built if they are unused or will i have
room to expand until i decide to use it?

i dont see why you would build a terminal now, i mean all it does is let more competition into the airport.
sure you get to expand but you have to wonder if the cost benefit of keeping the competition out is worth
more than the new routes

That's probably because most people use all the gates they have rented, so there's nothing to release.

obviously thats not the case as new people are getting into these airports somehow.

i understand dktc is releasing gates, perhaps he is releasing quite a few...

ever since the "CPU Exceeded" thing was fixed
i never see gates being released?

when are they being released? i mean
time of day?

this is frustrating watching competition appear in
airports that have had no available slots in quite awhile.

i see it in the list but then later in the post i see you say
no planes added that will be available less than 1 year?

honestly, newports i give you an A for effort, you're very persisent.

HSV is all yours, i finally picked up enough gates at another i'd
been wanting to get into.

just to clarify things, its pretty much like everyone said.
i got tired of fixing route after route
every 5 mins.  so i figured i'd make things challenging
for you.

it happens to all of us.  i'll give you an example of something
that happened to me the other day.  on JFK-ATL and JFK-HOU the same airline
dumped 6 773 frequencies on both of them at $1 dollar.
that torpedo'd the route for everyone, now everyone is running the route at a loss.
the gates are so hard to get at those airports sometimes you've just got to eat
the loss.

i think this may be what coastal is referring to.

it's all in fun.
