Follow up question: If I do decide to reallocate the plane to another base is it as easy as just closing all the routes from the defunct base and then creating the new routes from the new base.

I recently setup a route from an alliance base. I want to change the price but I'm getting the error that the selected airports are invalid. What do I need to do to change the price?

I joined an alliance and I'm plan to fly from one alliance airport to my existing airports. If I do that will this count against my limit of 7 hubs per airline or can I fly from as many alliance airports as I wish?

When setting up a new base I need to buy additional gates to fulfill the minimum requirements. If I return the unused gates after setting up the base will I still be charged at the end of the month for those gates??

Well maybe I should put my oldest plane on sale slapping a competitive price on it. If it does not sell after a year or so then I scrap it.

Is there a way by which I can find out how much maintenance is for each aircraft? That way I will be able to determine if it's better for me to just scrap a plane, keep it on the market or continue flying it.

Well my main concern is the high maintenance costs of my airline especially for my older planes. I guess it would be better for me to have them in service earning some of those costs back over it sitting idle  for sale.

I noticed that I have an option to "scrap" one of my planes. What exactly happens if I select this option? What are the advantages & disadvantages of doing this?
