To GoldDragonFly, before your world opens, if ,as the world owner you would prefer to be an Asian airline, I would give up JAL.
It's your 'World' after all.
If that was the case, then an American operator out of ATL would be my next choice.

can i have TAM Linhas Aereas. This would be my first South American venture. Always been an Asian carrier.
If someone chooses Singapore Airlines, they will be based at Singapore Changi. My only rule for the world states that your airline needs to be based at an airport in the country where the 'real' airline operates from, i.e Malaysia Airlines out of an airport in Malaysia, South African Airways out of South Africa, etc.
Its your choice if you would like to have your main hub, the same as the real airline or whether you would like to have your main hub at another airport within the country. I feel that there is no need to restrict the hubs, aircraft being used or creating routes. That is solely up to you.
The only rule is, you have to play as a real airline, based out of your 'home' country and you will be free to choose what aircraft you will deploy and which routes you will create.
So yes, to answer your question, the player who chooses Singapore Airlines, will have their main hub at Singapore Changi. This player can freely choose which other hubs they would like to open worldwide in accordance with the hub limits.
On second thoughts, I think I might be Korean Air instead of Malaysia Airlines. Sorry for the inconvenience :D

So, with that you can only create 2 Domestic Base...
I think better if you make MAX Base is 13, so you can create up to 5 Domestic Base...
This is the first time in 7 games I have done something completely different, I really can't wait.
->You pick a real life airline and you base according to (one of) the hub(s) of your real life airline (example: Etihad Airways hubs in Abu Dhabi).
->You're completely free in case of operations/flights, you don't have to copy your real life airline in case of operations. (Ryanair may also fly to NY JFK).
->Once you've chosen your airline, you're fixed to the alliance of your real life airline. (so Lufthansa goes to *Alliance, KLM to SkyTeam)...
->You're not fixed to your real life airline fleet. (Example: Airfrance may buy 737's).
->Routes within the same metropolitan area are forbidden (EWR-JFK).
->Secondary hubs may only be opened when there is a real life sence in it, so KLM opening a secondary hub in Barcelona isn't allowed. But Lufthansa opening Munchen as secondary hub would be explainable. Also regional hubs like Zurich for Lufthansa is allowed, but not an extra hub of Iberia in Oslo.
-Violators of rules will get 1 warning, and are required to have fixed the violation within 1 game month. Appeals are possible. After 1 warning there will be a ban.
I hope that someone makes a African Airline, I have once and it is a challenge because money making is hard but if work hard it is easy to get bigger. Also you get no competitors really ;)

JetBlue Airways has recently started operations from its New York JFK hub to major citites in the USA. JetBlue Airways is looking to provide a high quality service at guaranteed lowest prices. We offer what the legacy's dont, without the high fare. At JetBlue, we feel flying has become more of a chore, and so called "legacy" carriers are offereing full fares, but cutting down on frills and making us pay for extra. Here at JetBlue we are making a change, offereing free snakes and beverages on all flights, a state of the art live IFE system on its aircraft (first of it's kind in the world), and a smile on the face which will cheer up any disheartened flyer. Here at Jetblue we are looking to keep to a 2 aircraft policy for it's mainland fleet (B717 and A321), while also offereing smaller aircraft for it's regional fleet which will operate under the same brand and managment as mainland fleet (Ilyushin Il-114). In the future we will be looking to replace the a321-100 with a320 as the capacity is to high for our needs. We are also looking to partner with airlines such as Lufthansa and Aerlingus (As in real life) and is hoping to join the Star Alliance. We are also looking to expand our JFK base with our new terminal and new hubs will be periodically added LAX and Logan airports etc.

The problem is: i'd love to join, but I'll have to wait for at least ten days. So I was wondering if it was possible to "reserve" a specific airline (in this case Alitalia, being based in MXP instead of FCO) and join as soon as I get the damned >:( 30th token.

Oneworld member airlines required - as one of the smallest (4 airlines) we are looking for new members to join the largest ($$$$$) alliances going! So why not give Finnair or Cathay Pacific a go?
