Newer, better aircraft. Plus most (if not all) of us were around in the 90s... makes it more interesting to play.

As said, newer planes, planes we can relate to. Boeing 737-300, -400, -500, and from 1997 the 737NG. Airbus A320 from 1988, and A319 and A321 from 1996. ATRs are also a great deal more fun than Fokker 27s. Many more aircraft in the 1990s have a choice of engines

OK.
THe current databasee will supprt planes till 2008(?). Therefore, if its a 2000 round, its only going to last for 9 years instead of 10 years.

Atually, i think it is more limited than that. The most recent fuel data is for 2004 or 2005, limiting a round to 4 or 5 years.

So if what you're saying is correct the latest we can have a round start is 1994 correct?

Im not 100% sure when the fuel data runs out. I just got it from one of the staff members, some months ago. But if the start is in 1994, i suppose we would have a nice selection of current aircraft.

I heard the fuel data runs out in 2007 so the last year a game could exist is 2007. Preferrably a 1998 start would be nice....I want my airline flying A340s and A321s!!!
