Found a list with pax data for 57 airports in Russia/CIS. Some are already in the game - others not yet :wink:

Took me a loooong time to find those. But first I need to get the airports in Nigeria done. Air Elbonia is waiting for them :wink:

Some pax updates are nice:
DME 13.96M -> 15.37
KGD 0.31M -> 0.8M
VKO 4.8M -> 5.12M

But bad news for Samara: Instead of 5M as written in the game there were just 1.14M in 2006

As I am going thru this list I found;

UHNN Nikolayevsk-na-Amure

Unfortunatly no 3-Letter-Code/runway data at GCM. Does anyone know a different source where to get those?

Try google :P

Seriously, type in UHNN airport in google and you should be able to find the 3 letter code.

The runway length... try searching in google as well. There are some websites out there that have it, and the best you could do is try finding some news report or development / project proposals / updates on the web.

I did search google. The only 3-Letter-Code I could find is the regional one: НЛК (which would be NLK). But thats not the IATA one. I could not find it on World Aero Data either. :cry:

My best guess is it doesn't have an IATA. use something like Z10 or sth~

Should I also guess the RWY length? :wink: I guess I will skip that airport until data will be available.

If I cannot find runway length I usually enter the airport. That can be done later. The missing Iata .... well there are some of those, but if the data is official just give it ZYW for no as I know that one is free. And make a note in the source line saying no official IATA code found.

Finished to submit airports from the mentioned list. Unfortunatly there are plenty airports in Russia that have no websites. And other sources for pax data are really hard to find.

I will look into that. Same source as I used for the pacific islands and am now using for Myanmar. It gives most of the scheduled flights and the seating capacities on those flights. If done for Amsterdam Schiphol with this source, Amsterdam would have 21 mill. I checked some other airports with it that I have official figures for. Usually this alternative source will give a lower number. So it doesn't inflate pax numbers! As not all airlines scheduled flights are on there. It can be a $#@$ using it though as you have to add things up and get the right frequencies.

Wow, thanks for helping add in all those russian airports. Really gives an economic advantage for basing in the CCCP. :D
