Don't make the mistake that a lot of other small players make: be tempted by big airplanes.

I did not get a F27 untill I had 40 B99's

I moved up to 60 seaters once I had 50 F27's and did not buy a 737 untill I had 150 other aircraft.

Small airlines save up to buy a 737 and miss millions in revenue that can be generated with smaller airplanes, you would be hard pressed to get 800k DOP out of a 737, for a 36MM investment.

Don't buy a F27 untill your DOP is 10MM

Don't buy a 737 untill your DOP is 20-25MM

Don't even be tempted by a 747 untill your DOP is over 45MM!!!!

36MM cash would buy you 8 F27's returning you a DOP of 4-5MM, you will never get that with a 737.

There is no magic formula return depends on City pair, Aircraft, Competition, Route length, Turn time, Seats, Speed.

Getting a return of 100-150k on a B99 is average, allowing you to make a profit in 5-6 game days, or in other words allowing you to lease 3 more per game month on the return the first one generates.

This game is about compounded return on investment and you need to calculate the difference in return a lease makes versus a purchase. As we are a fair way into the game, leases get cheaper. Many smaller aircraft are available in the 10-15% bracket. This means that you can lease 8-10 aircraft for the purchase price of one. This allows you to make an immediate return and you can reinvest this in buying the same aircraft and then replacing your leased fleet.

you need to find a careful balance. Don't lease too many aircraft and start replacing them as soon as your DOP allows you. Keep an eye on the Finance screen to see what your monthly lease cost is.

Hint: Don't underestimate the speed of an Aircraft as it will allow you to fly more frequencies per 24hours

just one more question, In the game is there 31 days in the game month and is the profit of the aircraft how much money the plane gets every game day? (I've forgot all of these :lol: )

also if thats the case is this calculation corrent:
p=Profit that plane makes
g=gate costs
a=lease of aircraft

(p x 31)-(g+a)

that's not the most clever. are you sure the 737 is what you need? it's not beacause everyone buys it that it will serve you right...
There are other planes available tha might be more useful than a 737

@Iran777: you should have been more focused on domestic and short/medium haul before going to Europe...

I was thinking a profit of 110k on each route would be enough, because they still give me lots of money at the moment

sure but for example 110k that's what I get with 2 short/medium routes(i.e less than 1000nm). Well less and less now due to competition but still
I once had a dc940 with a 800k DOP running on routes shorter than 1200nm.
