Trust me...NWA is the best. On United, most of your flights get canceled when you go out of large cities

A. I live out of Minneapolis/St Paul basically, so i have come to figure out that NWA really isn't that bad.
B. United is terrible  .  Let me recount my favorite United story.  We went on a field trip from MSP to DCA.  Half of us flew through Detroit on NWA on the way there, the other half flew through ORD on United (I was in the Northwest half).  Their flight to ORD was delayed 6 hours, and they barely made another connecting flight  So while the NWA arrived on time at 11 AM, the others arrived at 6 PM  .  But that's not all.  On the way back, the NWA people had a direct flight, but the United people still had to connect in Chicago.  Their flight there got delayed, and once they finally got there, the planes were so late they were considering taking a train or coach bus.  But they made it, and instead of getting back at 11 PM as planned, they got back at 3 AM.  (the worst part for us northwest people was that the United people got the school day off the next day    )

So if you want to go for the worse airline (which would be fun to see), work for United.

Its actually a common fact that NW has some of the worst serrivce in genral when compared to the rest of the industry (not like United is much better).

The Chicago, you've obviously not been SFO, DEN, LAX, or (sometimes) Dullas.

Much better. I like SEA. Despite severe winter storms rolling through the region, we rarely get delays :P

I think there was only 2 days when we had delays of 1 and 1/2 hours long in Seattle, due to weather (last year).

One day was when there was a massive storm with a recorded 5 minute sustained wind speed of 75 mph+
and a gust to 79 miles in seattle+like 2 inches of rain in 2 hours, which is a ton for Seattle in 2 hours.

(My friend had no power for 2 weeks, while I never lost power)

The other one was a snow storm. :)

Wow, great news and a big congrats to you!

I wanted to become a pilot too, and had the grades for it, but 20 years ago it was a no no to have a bike on the nose and surgery to the eyes was dangerous.
Had it been today I would have coughed up the $3000 to correct my vision.

I had eye problems when I was a child but after 3 surgeries and 3 years of vision threapy I have corrected my vision flaws and now have perfect vision.  They even told my parents I would never be able to be a pilot when I was a child.
