avg profit/ plane?

i'm curious...what is everyone's average profit per plane?  Obviously this depends on the plane...but are people willing to share?  I'm at about 500K per plane w/ 4-0-4's and DC3's

You all must be in a good market :o

I'm between 70k to 130k per plane. DC-3s are the longest range plane I currently have. I have a longer range plane on order though. I'm having a difficult start. I wish I picked a smaller airport to base out of initially.

@pepperjack, assuming you are pepperjack air

try to fly more often to airports near your base in dubai. there is an excellent market in pakistan at the coast, possibly also some in southern russia.
the old planes are slow, dont force them over range when you have not explored closer markets.

Yup, that's my airline.

Thanks. Just seems most of my short routes I'm competing with a lot of people. Like 5 to 7 with people doing multiple frequencies. One route has 19 frequencies total. I just looked in Asian and there might be some short routes I can kick in there. I'm going to start working on getting longer range planes as I think I have all/most of the routes within 1000 miles.

the Mid East and African market suck total balls...

the airport sizes in N. America and Europe are 3 to 4 times that in the Mid East

and therefore people in the N. America and Europe have a DOP which is 3 to 4 times greater and they're running away with the game

New York JFK   40,584,001
Phoenix   41,204,071
Denver   43,307,335
Las Vegas   44,280,190
Dallas/Ft.Worth   59,064,360
Los Angeles   61,485,269
Chicago O Hare   76,766,776
Atlanta   85,894,947

and there are almost 10 times more airports in N. America and Europe than in the Mid East
it's almost not fair

well that's how the market is. that's how traveling is. the people who make the better economy's travel more, for buisiness and pleasure. you didnt have to be in the middle east, you could've chose to be out of chicago o hare or jfk. so don't complain. be true to your region. just focus on being first in your continent, not the world. when one day you have the ability to fly to atlanta or o hare, you'll finally be glad of the travellers through those airports and those who fly your airline!

It's wasn't bad last round with modern planes but the slow planes, low range, and low capacity really hurts the people in the mid east this round

That was my thought when I started last round too, but fact is that those airports get so crowded, that in the second half of the game YOU will climb up the ranks. They make their money now when the competition is low, our day comes later :)
