Be difficult....

get a Ford Tri-Motor???

Well then, so do I get my Junkers Ju-52?
But seriously: I think the DC3 might be a little bit too small/old for the first plane. The Viscount, the Viking and the Convair 240 look best IMO.
But did you ever take this bird into consideration?

I got to see a Fokker tri-motor at an air show here in Germany.  It was too damn cool.

Too many seats.

Look for airliners in 35-50 seat range.

I would love to see airliners in the 19-25 seat range.  It would also help slow the round down a bit.
How about a DeHaviland Caribou???
Can I get mine with the floats???

As Cornfield said, its too big. Thats why I left it out. Granted there are a few big birds in my list but I'd settle for a 50 seater or so.

We did discuss the Wright Flyer earlier on, but the stats would look stupid in between all the other aircraft. That and the maximum range is not even 1nm.

Whats the point? It means you get less new features, we are less prepared and everything gets delayed relative to ingame date.

Remember, I've never said whats for definate. ;)

Some planes that are possibilities now since looking them up:
  • Avro York
  • AS.57 Ambassador
  • Vickers Viscount
  • Vickers VC.1 Viking
  • Sud-Est Armagnac
  • Tupolev Tu-70 (Never actually produced)
  • Boeing 307 (377 might be a tad big)
  • Convair 240
  • Douglas DC-4
  • Douglas DC-6
  • Lockheed Constellation
All aircraft are from 1940-1949 era.

One thing we can do is have a choice, and have certain types per continent. So if starting in Europe you get European planes, in the US local planes etc.

Do you mean that we can choose our starting aircraft ourselves?
p.s.If I have establish an alliance, will I still be in the alliance after the reset?

Nope. You won't be in that alliance next round. The scripts won't transfer over because they are to big. And besides everything will "reset" next round.

Alliances will be cleared out just because a reset means just that. Everything is reset.

With regard to starting aircraft we are waiting on the relevant staff member to finish data collection and adding it to the game before we start looking into what aircraft will be used and whether or not there will be a choice.
