I am sorry to ruin the fun here, but it is sadly not allowed to use real world airline names. This means that airlines like KLM and Southwest (and others) would have to change their names. The Airline Branding Center in the forum is the place to ask for another airline name:

Please note that names like KLN and Southwestern would not be a problem.

I would recommend starting out with just AA, but it seems reasonable to eventually add AS as well in time if/when you outgrow AA.

I just want to give interested players a heads up, as we do now have an active official game broker in the world. South/Central America is kind of empty, and so is Asia. And the Middle East would also like some airlines!

You're free to create all of the Air Asia brands/subsidiaries.  I'll update the list accordingly!
