Hi someone can help me.
the rate of maintenanace for a B727-200 in my company is  $1.912.168 (monthly)
I have four B727-200 in fleet so the total ammount of $7.648.675.
this make impossible to generate operation profit ,my load factor is 100% and every aircraft
generate an interesting net profit, but the maintenance cost is impossible to manage.
Question: why the maintenace cost is so high? in other sim games the average cost for this
aircraft is 60% less depending on maintenace schedule.
Well this is my problem right now, hope someone may help me .
Thank you

What's their age?
What is chiefly needed is skill rather than machinery.

Yes, what is their age? Also, if you can, and want to keep those 727's, try selling the ones you have, and leasing same number of 727's. Then you won't have any maintenance to worry about. Hope this helps.

Good luck and happy flying.

Since he didn't mentioned the age of his aircrafts, what do you guys think is the retirement age of most aircrafts?  Can I keep them for like 5-6 years?

That all depends on your average aircraft. If you have a lot of turboprops or small jets, keep them for up to five years - maybe even longer if you have a big base. But if you have many long haul aircraft you should try to keep the fleet age below 3-4 years.

And in the new public world they might last some years longer.

Not actually, I was referring to the new public world (#2677) that's testing out a new maintenance formula.  The costs are lower, which means that you can have the planes for some years longer than you would in any other world.
