Nope, it's a modified normal aircraft.

The black blob covers the name of the aircraft.

Yes, it had a very distinc design feature that is not common today - as far as I know this design feature has only been successful in a few helicopters

Nono, it this picture shows a design feature that has only been successful part of some helicopters, but this is not a helicopter. The principle of this feature is actually in widespread use in global transport today, but not in the air.

Only one of these were ever built.
